Elbows up? Right!

Thanks yet again you fine folks out in Ontario. While the Prime Minister you voted in, the man who gaslighted you into believing he was the only man who could stand up to President Trump, the man who convinced you he was the ultimate deal-maker was busy posing for a Trudeau-style photo op and reducing the fee on a toll bridge, Trump made a sweet deal with the European Union. This deal, among other benefits, says the EU will buy $6 billion worth of energy from the U.S. I wonder where the Americans are going to get that kind of energy products? I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count. Unless Prime Minister Carney steps up and starts actually fighting for Canada, and soon, I’m afraid the country we all love is doomed to collapse.

Empty declaration
So Carney will be declaring support for a separate Palestinian state in September at the UN. It’s an empty declaration anyway, as Israel has to approve any formation of a separate state, and where is the land going to come from? As a result of this statement, we now have a further 35% tariff on goods going to the States, items under the USMCA being exempt. Laurentian elites, this who you elected. Happy now?

(Many Canadians aren’t happy.)
Not good-old USA
Real Canadians should abhor any Canadian leaving Canada to visit family, friends or just vacation in the good-old USA because of Donald’s recent tariff increase from 25% to 35% against Canada. Give your head a shake people. He hasn’t mentioned us becoming the 51st state, but his recent actions push Canada closer to this ultimate end. Spend your Canadian dollars in Canada first and anywhere else on our planet but not in the USA. The good-old USA is just not good anymore.

(‘Abhor’ is a strong word, but these are troubling times.)
Carney’s big mistake
Carney should have waited to announce Canada’s intention to recognize Palestine after the trade deal was signed off by Canada and the U.S. in a public ceremony.

(That might have worked.)
A mockery of election
As a Canadian citizen, promoting my freedom of speech, I feel compelled to speak out loud and clear to the Independent candidates on the election ballot. How dare you to take it upon yourselves to make a mockery of this election. Your participation in this election, to bring attention to fair voter representation, is in fact preventing a fair democratic election.
Karen S Gibbs
(That’s certainly up for debate.)
