With the prime minister’s hidden agenda, I won’t be exactly holding my breathe for Carney to axe the EV mandate. If he did, it would go against his every green energy principles and standards. As I see it, massive consequences are yet to hit the shores of Canada from this federal Liberal government securing four more years on the throne in Ottawa. Just wait for the main event to start its engines.

Team spirit

Shoutout to all playing the Tsuut’ins Nation Scavenger Hunt from the Crowchild family! We are happy to collect our 1,000 points now.

(What a great way to spend the summer, good luck to all who are playing!)

No knees here

All those who think Carney took a knee to Trump are out to lunch. Our Premier bowed to Trump, and took a knee to Trump. He is not someone to admire. Those that admire him are not worth knowing.

Stop the ride

Alberta is getting off the Merry-Go-Round of Insanity!  Canada gladly takes our money from our oil industry and then tries to make us feel guilty for producing oil. Well in the 2026 referendum we will say “Goodbye” to Canada’s schizophrenic behaviour as we happily vote for Alberta independence. We will keep our annual billions of dollars in equalization, but we may leave a small donation when we leave for Canada to get some psychiatric help.

(That referendum isn’t a done deal, yet.)

Here for flipping pics

The Ontario Premier was in Calgary for the Stampede. Ontario needs Alberta products despite their Liberal leaning. When push comes to shove Alberta already has a Port: Churchill, Manitoba. And there are willing premiers for a route for LNG and oil to this existing port overlooked for the last ten years by Trudeau and his government. A government that didn’t want oil and gas in Canada. Alberta entertains lots of Easterners who seem to pop up for a photo op every Stampede and a lesson in pancake flipping.
