I have been following Greta Thunberg since she started her crusade. She began at a young age and now has grown into a woman. I think all of us should be grateful that there is a young lady who is willing to fight for the environment.
Instead of attacking this woman, I am saying, “Thank you for all the effort you have put into this fight for the good of all mankind.” Maybe, if more people started to stand up, we might start seeing results.
Greta, thank you and keep up the fight for all of us.
DEREK SHEPPARD
(So many are happy to stand up against her, too.)

Re: Man on receiving end shares aftermath of viral golf course fight with ex-NHL enforcer, online, July 10
Watching the video of a former NHL enforcer tuning up an intoxicated golfer made for great viewing.

It’s funny how real life can imitate a fictional movie. The guy was certainly no Bob Barker, but he did have that no-quit attitude.
Let this serve as a warning to all you other professional athletes not to mess with anyone after they have had a couple of bottles of liquid smartener.
Everyone knows beer makes you smarter; after all, it made Bud wiser.
WAYNE BOYCE
(We see what you did there. Clever.)
WASTEFUL LIBERALS
So Prime Minister Mark Carney and his gaslighting Liberals are looking for savings. Excuse me for being legitimately skeptical, but I believe the only thing they might accomplish is slightly reducing the enormous waste they constantly produce,, and even that is unlikely. They’ve already covered up their abysmal waste in ArriveCan and Sustainable Development Technology Canada. Even though those were egregious, they are just a miniscule drop in the bucket of Liberal waste and abuse of our taxpayer dollars. They’ve got plenty more skeletons in the closet.
GISELE LAVICTOIRE
(And yet we elected them, again. Shameful.)
Odds are against Farkas
I am considering purchasing a lottery ticket for the next draw. I figure that I have a greater chance of winning the lottery jackpot than Jeromy rebounding and taking home top prize on Oct. 20th. I am afraid the ship has already left port for Mr. Farkas.
Donald K. Munroe
(May the odds be ever in your favour.)
