We can prevent giant wildfires

My brother’s idea about creating a water bomber fleet of airplanes to fight wild fires in Manitoba and across Canada is a good one. By attacking wild fires in their early stages before they grow out of control, mandatory population evacuations and structure loss may become a thing of the past. The health hazard smoke generated by these gigantic wild fires will certainly be reduced. Wild fires seem to be increasing from year to year and will not go away. Sure, it will take a few years to manufacture these specialized airplanes which is better late than never, so Canada can create a nationwide plan to combat these fires.

No Canadian love for Alberta
The 2026 Referendum is nothing like the 1995 Referendum. In the lead-up to the 1995 Referendum, Canadians were in full “Canadian Unity” mode trying to keep Quebec in Canada. Hundreds of Letters to the Editor were written to Quebec newspapers encouraging Quebecers to stay in Canada. Thousands of Canadian school children drew posters with the Campaign theme: “My Canada includes Quebec”, that were then sent to Quebec.

Thirty years later, has Canada launched a campaign that is equally inclusive to keep Alberta? The answer is no! There are only crickets making it clear to Albertans that Canada doesn’t even want them to stay in Canada. If Canadian unity is so important to the Prime Minister, instead of immediately approving a Pipeline to the Coast as the 1st C-5 Project to show Alberta it is even wanted in Canada, he ignores Alberta and has left for a vacation. Your message was heard loud and clear Mr. Prime Minister! Well Canada, our signs for an independent Alberta will be going up soon. No animosity here. We will be the energy powerhouse we want to be and Canada can be whatever it wants to be. Let the better future begin!

Watch for new tariffs
Canada had better be careful, Potus might be putting a 23% tariff on all that wildfire smoke.

Sick of it
I think I am suffering from tariff fatigue. Everyday the dictator of the south threatens a new tariff with a new deadline. Where does it end? Every once in a while he claims it is because we have not stopped drugs from crossing the border into the United States. Is it not the job of the USA Border Control to catch that activity at the border before it can enter the States? Oh right, he fired most of those people.
