Here we have Mark Carney, barely prime minister of Canada for less than two months and he is already barking out orders to the global community ‘to calm down’. I am quite sure Trump, Netanyahu and even Zelenskyy are all standing at attention on the global parade square as this newbie from Canada barks out the orders. Perhaps, it would be a good idea for Carney to grow in his role as PM first, before taking over top spot on the global stage – starting with Canada first.

Don’t forget about us
I am tired of all this separatist and political talk that has been happening for the last six months. I know that there are a lot of people in Alberta who are afraid of what the federal Liberals are trying to do and the lack of action Danielle Smith is doing.

Granted, people are allowed to have separatist thoughts, as it’s a right that is protected in Canada’s Charter. What about the rights of the First Nations and those who want to stay in Canada? Don’t we get a say in the matter?

Get them working
I think we are all a tad too concerned about Canada building pipelines. So, I bring you ‘Wife Lines’! Wife Lines consist of bored housewives who demand, desire, and deserve high paying jobs. The Wife Line consists of women side by side across Canada passing Jerrycans of oil across our great land. I don’t have a wife but I ‘m sure she would approve. Forget pipelines, the time for wife lines is now!

Too good to be true
Time will tell if the passage of Bill C-5 on June 20th is good for the Alberta economy. It may be a deceptive Trojan Horse that benefits the federal government much more. Beware of Liberals bearing gifts!
JOANNE and WAYNE MORCOM
(We will remain skeptical.)
